Saltmarsh Residential Care Home, Hayling Island

Saltmarsh House is a private residential care home for the elderly, situated at the western side of Hayling Island in a pleasant residential setting known as West Town. The house was built in 1977,constructed from an award-winning design, using local red bricks, Georgian windows with a roof of red rolled tiles. Standing back from the road with its own shingle drive and forecourt car parking area, the house boasts a garden pond with a variety of fish and water plants, in addition to a heated swimming pool for use during the Summer.

The accommodation within the house consists of twelve bright and cheerful single rooms, attractively decorated, some with ensuite facilities. An emergency call system is installed in each bedroom and other rooms should urgent help be required. The rooms face east to west with adjacent bathrooms. A custom made stair lift links all floors.
